A LITTLE R&R, ANYONE?

  • Name: Andi Grant
  • Hometown: USA

REST? RELAXATION?  I don't think those words are in my vocabulary! But I certainly could use some!

We've been very busy at all our branches.  You can read about our activities and news on our web site's Message Forum, Blog, Home Page News, Online Calendar and now, several of us have MYSPACE pages!  I'm sure you'll find all the news & information on upcoming events - like our St. Paddy's Day Fundraiser, our Easter/Passover Collections (soon to be posted) & our big motorcycle ride in May!

     !!!!!!!!!!!!   !!!!!!!!!!!      !!!!!!!!!!!  !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, we have different events happening around the nation and you can host a drive or event for us in your state even if we don't have a branch in your state.

But before I continue, I'd like to extend a BIG HELLOHUG and MY HEARTFELT THANKS to SPC JASON D. WHITEHEAD who arrived home today at approx. 5:00 PM boots on the ground) for some R&R with his family.  For those who don't know, Jason is the eldest son of Dan and Barbara Whitehead.  Barb is our North Carolina Branch Director.

Jason - Thank you and thanks to all your comrades for your service to our country.  We'll continue to support you.  How's the microwave and XBOX system holding out?

Also, more thanks & hugs to SGT Ryan Royer and the 235th MP COMPANY in Afghanistan who received one of our Valentines Day Care packages!

We have a TALL ORDER of unusual items to get these men including some standard DOOR HINGES!  (Those shoppers who are interested - please contact me! Uh oh! Do I hear Joe Garrett, Lydia Granitto and Carol Kana calling me? )

And another enormous hug to SPC Eric Shackelford and his fellow Kentucky National Guardsmen in Iraq who also enjoyed the Valentines Day care packages we sent.

We're thrilled our boxes are making it over in lightning speed!

Deployed Troops in Combat - Know we're praying for you daily!  Let us know what you need and we'll do our best to helo you out - you're our family, too!

Love,
Andi & G2TT

Andi you know me too well. While I was trying to figure out where items were kept in various grocery stores, I continued to spread the word about Give 2 The Troops.
That was an interesting mix of special requests.

I would like to thank all those who have give to the Give2thetroops in honor of my son CPL Ryan D. Russell who was killed by an IED on March 5, 2007.

It is very important for me to keep supporting the troops that are still there serving our country.;);)
